Shortly after purchasing this Pro-line Grand Sport, the new owner contacted Allpure Filtration because it seemed like the fuel tank was contaminated with water. He said both engines would stall after a short run at low RPM, and horsepower was very diminished. This seemed like water contamination to me also so we set a date for a tank cleaning. After inspecting the fuel tank, I found very little contamination – certainly nothing that would cause an engine to stall. Further investigation revealed a problem with both anti-siphon valves. This is simply a check-ball mechanism in the 90° elbow coming out of the fuel tank that connects to the fuel line. After replacing both valves with quality new replacements, the problem was eliminated.
Apparently buildup from sitting idle for a few years before the purchase accumulated on these valves and restricted fuel flow.
When you call on Allpure Filtration, know that your problem will be resolved. Even if it means going the extra mile.
